Terms of Service
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms cover your use of QuickAssistBot ("the Service"), operated by the operator of QuickAssistBot ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
What the Service does
QuickAssistBot hosts AI chat assistants that you install on websites. You point one at a website, it indexes the pages it can read, and it answers visitor questions from that content. It can collect contact details from visitors and pass them to you by email, webhook, or a portal.
Answers are generated by a third-party AI model from indexed content. They can be wrong. The Service is not a substitute for advice from a qualified person, and you must not present it as one — see Acceptable use.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- One person or company per account. Agency sub-accounts are for your clients, and you remain responsible for what they do.
- You may close your account at any time from the Account page. That deletes your data — see Privacy.
Your content, and your clients'
You keep ownership of everything you put in: bot configuration, text you paste, and the website content you ask us to index. You give us permission to store and process it only so far as running the Service requires.
You confirm you are entitled to have us index the websites you point us at, and to collect and handle the visitor details a bot captures. Where visitors' personal data is concerned, you are the controller and we act on your instructions — that relationship is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- Break the law, or help anybody else do it.
- Index a site you have no right to index, or impersonate a business you do not represent.
- Present generated answers as professional medical, legal or financial advice.
- Handle payment card numbers, health records, or similar sensitive data through the chat.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, or attempt to circumvent usage limits.
- Probe, overload or reverse-engineer the Service, or resell raw access to the underlying AI models.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
Plans and limits
Each plan includes a number of bots, a number of AI replies per calendar month, and a number of pages that may be indexed per month. Limits are flat: a reply is a reply, and nothing multiplies it.
When an account reaches its monthly reply limit, its bots stop generating answers but keep running — visitors are still offered the contact form, so enquiries are not lost. Replies resume at the start of the next month, or as soon as you move to a larger plan. Allowances are counted per account and pooled across every bot on it, including sub-accounts.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Lemon Squeezy, who are the merchant of record. Your contract for payment is with them; they handle the transaction and any sales tax, VAT or GST due where you are. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account returns to Free — nothing is deleted. Your bots, their knowledge and your leads remain, with a Free allowance and without the paid features.
If a payment fails we do not cut service off immediately; Lemon Squeezy retries the card for several days first and we email you while there is still time to fix it.
[Set your refund policy here before launch — whether you offer them, and within what window.]
Availability
We work to keep the Service up, but we do not promise a particular uptime. It depends in part on third parties — AI providers, email delivery, and our host — whose outages we cannot prevent. We may change or remove features; where a change would materially reduce what a paid plan includes, we will give notice by email first.
Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or the consequences of anything an AI assistant said. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You may close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is unpaid after Lemon Squeezy's retries are exhausted. On closure your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
